Tour Description

This is a private premium tour with a Norwegian guide to the famous Pulpit Rock in the Lysefjord. Perfect for those who prefer to do things at their own pace, set their own dates and times and to explore places not included in the standard tours.  Pulpit Rock Experience has experience in tailor-making tours. We know the area, the people and the best spots.

In addition to lunch, we bring Norwegian trail snacks, warm and cold beverage, camera, hiking and sticks. We show you all the cool spots and consequently make sure you and your party get an unforgettable day in the breathtaking Norwegian nature. Let’s make this a hike of a lifetime!

The hike itself takes about 5 hours round trip and is 6 kilometers long, consisting of slightly hilly terrain. You and your party should be in generally good physical condition, and children should be 8 years or older. Finally at the mountain plateau, rising 604 meters above Lysefjorden, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the spectacular view.

You should wear lightweight hiking shoes or hiking boots, and clothing according to the weather.
